Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. She is born in Polish origin (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion in the performing arts from the age of a child. In 1992, Kristen attended her first audition. She was given the role of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age of 13 and was cast as a model in television and newspaper commercials. She also started taking acting lessons in private at this time. Bell played an uncredited character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. She was cast as Dorothy in the production for high school of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater in New York City. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she had her first credit debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell appeared with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
